IT strategy and delivery acceleration/optimization

Traditionally, two solutions are proposed when a digital solution is required to meet a business need:

  • Purchasing or leasing an off-the-shelf solution that meets the business requirements identified during the needs analysis phase
  • Custom development of a made-to-measure solution

The first solution has the advantage of being inexpensive to set up and quick to use. The downside of these advantages is a lack of adaptability to specific business needs. When a need arises that is not covered by the chosen solution, the customer either accepts that this need cannot be met, or goes ahead with the development – often costly and difficult to maintain – of a company specific module. On the other hand, the company then becomes dependent on the software publisher for the maintenance of its tool.

Custom development guarantees a certain degree of independence and great adaptability to the company’s needs, but also represents a much higher budget, not to mention implementation times, regardless of the project methodology chosen (Agile or V-cycle).

With our technology partner Faveod, we have developed a project methodology that combines the speed of off-the-shelf solutions with the adaptability and independence offered by custom development. In fact, Faveod considerably accelerates the development of applications that are entirely owned by the customer (no licensing costs for use of the developed application, full ownership of the source code).

To capitalize on these advantages and maximize time and budget savings, we support our customers in the adoption of a new project methodology, inspired by Agile and Lean Startup, enabling them to considerably reduce the time between the expression of needs and the delivery of functionalities to users.
